A time when the land is celebrated in all its blessed blooms and the swells of fertility suffuse our lives. It’s a time when Spring really begins to find it momentum and creative zest awakens in our lives. In the ancient Celtic lands, Beltane was celebrated as the time when the Horned God of Nature, Pan, Cernunnos, the Green Man, would make immense love to the Earth Goddess to consummate Her fertile blossoming. Thusly, the lover was exalted in us all as the joys of Spring return the beautiful flowering of nature. It was a time when the tryst of masculine and feminine was honoured in its inner-marriage and externally in the world of divine romance. A time when the aroma of love is not only all-pervading but a matter of practical importance to make certain of new growth. Join us on May 8th, on the Taurus New Moon as we celebrate this blessed Springtime with a ceremonial ecstatic dance of prayer, community spirit, movement medicine, sacred sound journey and a closing ritual to honour the marriage of masculine and feminine forces in radiant union. We welcome back to the holy fold DJ Druid, Darren Austin Hall, from the pure lands of Costa Rica, replete with Earth wisdom, to lead us in opening prayers and then into our transformational dance. The torch will then be passed to Jesse Buck aka. Cacaoboy to take us from the peak of fiery dance into more exalted revelry. We will then descend from the dance into the regenerative repose of a deep Sound Journey with Darren, featuring his signature source-singing/song channeling. We will close with a special ritual to honour the masculine and feminine with complimentary chanting to celebrate the power of union that Beltane emanates. The votaries of Gaia are walking Her bosom-hills, returning to jungles and forests, to the anointing of wilderness, to remember what was lost and revel in this new age of fervent finding. And the ancestors are teeming in merriment, for this pivotal moment of reclamation of the sacredness of this holy world, not out there in the empty promises of heaven without but the heaven heaving, breathing alive in the nectar of these billowing trees, cacophony of animal kin and sacred water songs; singing within... COME and weep away the prisons and tyrannies that have beset us and tried desperately to convince us otherwise. COME and unite with the other wondrous ones in the re-enchantment of the world, in letting Her save us by raising again that trust, that sweet river of trust, that says...
