It is with great excitement that TONIGHT we host our first INTERNATIONAL ARTIST of 2023, DRUMSPYER, for our Scoprio Full Moon Groove. The Celtic bass legend has only played once in Toronto in 2018 and is excited to make his return to Toronto and share his musical medicine with us as his last date on his East Coast tour! We will be having Elena Klymenko hosting a Kundalini Yoga Class at 7pm before our Cacao Ceremony and have the incredible Rose & Hive Temple Grove to activate our evening with their prayer-performance ritual. The dance will open with resident DJ Jesse Buck who is shifting into his new Cacowboy DJ name. He will be opening the night with an Ecstatic Journey of Global Grooves, weaving a sacred evening of ecstatic revelry as we dive into the depths of this Scorpio Full Moon energy. The night will conclude with a Deep 432hz Soundbath Meditation and community sounding ritual! Music: He brings a deep love of rhythm to his distinctive style of percussion-driven dance music. An expert percussionist specializing in tamborines and framedrums, he weaves together intricate hand percussion and bass-heavy production into finely sculpted grooves, equally inspirational to the dancefloor and the on-stage performer. Drawing inspiration from the Folk, Medieval, and Renaissance music of the British Islands and Europe, his music is a unique alchemy of musical traditions, energetic tribal rhythms, and pagan atmosphere. Chocolate Groove has been offering alcohol-free community gatherings since the summer of 2018. What started out as a Community Cacao Ecstatic Dance Social has evolved into a much bigger production over the last 4 years. We have been hosting many different types of community gatherings over the years, but most known for our Cacao Ecstatic Dance Party’s where we merge the freedom of Ecstatic Dance & with a social / networking experience.
