A conscious community dedicated to healthy dance parties paired with sacred cacao. Join us in BIG LOVE! Join us as we converge on this potent nexus of Hallowe'en/Samhain/Day of the Dead and also on the eve of the Full Moon in Taurus. Since ancient times this time of year was revered as a holy moment when the veils between the world of the living and the dead is thin, opening us to access profound spiritual messages from our ancestors and the spirit realms. Our ancient ancestors would often celebrate these days with mystical dances and ritual to connect with the opening portals between the realms, receiving wisdom from beyond. During this aumtumnal time of holy darkness, we will gather for another chapter of the Chocolate Groove in Hamilton, beginning with a deep ritual opening with cacao medicine and spiritual teachings to set the context for our night of transformation. On this occasion we are also welcoming special guest DJ, facilitator and Sacred Sound artist, Darren Austin Hall, who will catalyze our dance with his flair for shaking medicine and ecstatic movement medicine. Darren will also be curating the closing Sound Journey with Sound Alchemist Cindy Lynn. Darren's set will also be followed by a powerful set by resident Chocolate Groove Hamilton DJ Youssey. When will close our enchanting proceedings with an inspiring and beautiful Prayer for Peace, as we face into all the tumult in our world at the moment, sending love and grace to all of our human family in the Middle East, harnessing the wisdom of the ancestors and Great Spirit to offer beauty to the dearly departed and envision a world beyond conflict. Chocolate Groove has been offering alcohol-free community gatherings since the summer of 2018. What started out as a Community Cacao Ecstatic Dance Social has evolved into a much bigger production over the last 4 years. We have been hosting many different types of community gatherings over the years, but most known for our Cacao Ecstatic Dance Party’s where we merge the freedom of Ecstatic Dance & with a social / networking experience.
