The new moon is a powerful time for setting intentions and beginning new cycles. Leo is associated with creativity, self-expression, and confidence. Our intention is to encourage participants to tap into their creativity, express themselves, and set intentions for the upcoming lunar cycle. This Wednesday, Chocolate Groove aligns with the exact day of the Leo New Moon, August 16th. We will be offering a unique new moon journey of Transformational Breathwork, Cacao & Ecstatic Dance Journey led by an all-female DJ Lineup. The event will be a Silent Disco as we reunite with our Bloom Audio Silent Disco Headsets that kept us going through the chaos of 2020/21. These headsets allow for a deeper inner journey and to bring our event to places where we cannot have amplified sound, which we require for this week's special location. * BE SURE TO REGISTER AS WE ARE LIMITED TO 170 HEADSETS THE FLOW OF THE EVENING… We will open the event with a1 hour Transformational Breathwork Journey with Noah Long. The musical journey will be led by the founder of Ecstatic Dance Halifax, Hieronphunk & DJ Starlight of the Samsara Collective. As a certified breath coach accredited by the Breath Masters Academy and YogiLab, Noah has assisted numerous individuals in unlocking and accessing their potential. Noah is also a certified Progressing Ballet Technique trainer and a former soloist with the National Ballet of Canada, in addition to his work with Breath Heroes. Transformational Breathwork: Description Transformational Breathwork Journeys are immersive and life-changing experiences. Journey Title: “Rewiring Stress and Anxiety” Technique Description Transformational Breathwork is a type of active meditation that uses controlled hyperventilation breathing. Transformational Breathwork can change your state of consciousness so that you can explore your emotions from today, yesterday, or even thirty years ago. You can also explore the emotions of your family and society as a whole, which is how we all work and interact. Unconsciously suppressed emotions wire your brain in a dysfunctional way, which has negative consequences in your daily life. Untangling these blind spots somatically through breathwork workshops allows you to let go of these feelings and internal blocks, allowing you to finally move on and improve your life. Experience Description First, students will experience an informative introduction where they’ll practice the activating breathing technique utilized in the Journey. This intro aims to empower students with the science behind why this technique is so effective at unearthing stuck somatic energy and releasing unresolved childhood and generational trauma so they can create the life they desire. Transformational Journeys involve a variety of audio layers, such as guided vocal coaching, encouraging whispers, a breathing SFX guide, binaural brain entrainment, subliminal hypnotic therapy, 432 Hz harmonic tuning, and an epic music playlist. Students will get the best results if they eat or drink 4-5 hours before the session, avoid coffee or other stimulants, and don't do drugs or drink alcohol the night before. Noah, our certified coach, as well as several Spotters trained by Noah, will also offer light bodywork to help support cardiovascular systems and facilitate deeper somatic energy releases.
