We are an intentional, alcohol-free, all-inclusive safe space for everyone to come together, connect & DANCE. A Chocolate Dance Party Summer has arrived, and we are still buzzing from what was our BIGGEST outdoor season opener yet! We are excited to build on that incredible momentum as we soak in all the sweetness of summer and come together for a very special edition of Chocolate Groove. Join us this coming Wednesday as we host an official Sonic Springs Festival Pre-Party! As co-creators of the festival (happening August 13th – 17th), we are thrilled to bring a taste of that magic to our community. Get ready for another day into night Ecstatic Dance Party beneath the open sky. This is a judgment-free, alcohol-free space designed for presence, connection, and elevation. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or stepping into our circle for the first time, Chocolate Groove is your playground for celebration, connection, and joy. Schedule: 6:00 PM: Arrival & Grounding 6:30 PM: Cacao Ceremony 7:00 PM: Music featuring Matty Ryce, DANTE, & Cacaoboy 11:00 PM: Soundbath Meditation (Facilitator TBA) 💫 Energy Exchange Suggested Donation: $25 – $40. Your contributions are essential to keeping these events sustainable, allowing us to pay our artists and cover the operational costs of these outdoor offerings. Donations can be made to Michael Egan (wearing a bright vest) at the Cacao Table. 🌿 Essential Info Bring a Cup: Please bring your own reusable cup for the cacao ceremony to help us honor the Earth and reduce waste. Dress for the Weather: Rain or shine, we dance! Check the forecast and come prepared with layers and sun/rain protection. Pack Your Essentials: Water bottle, blanket/yoga mat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and anything else you need to feel grounded. Leave No Trace: Let’s respect the land. Please pack out everything you pack in—let's leave the park cleaner than we found it. Footwear: Many prefer to dance barefoot, but we recommend bringing shoes for walking to and from the dance area, as the terrain may be uneven. Presence Over Phones: Let’s be here now. Feel free to capture moments for social media, but please step away from the dance floor to preserve the shared energy of the space. Safety & Self-Reliance: As this is a public outdoor space, we encourage radical self-reliance. We will have a 10x20 ft lounge area lit up; please feel free to bring tapestries or pillows to expand our cozy space. If you see something that needs attention, please notify our staff immediately. Substance-Free: We co-create a sober space of presence. Please do not bring alcohol or illegal substances. Facilities: Public washrooms are nearby but have early closing times (around 9–10 PM).
