(En ze blijven met ons tot 30 Dec. en zullen meer spelen & les geven tijdens de Taboe Camp) Dit jaar de Taboe Camp Opening Milonga op 27 December is een besloten avond, want we zijn dan met meer dan 200'en, en veel meer dansers passen niet meer in de zaal. OVER DE WORKSHOP (nog enkele plaatsen vrij, meld aan snel als je mee wilt doen) 'More Than Fun Musicality' met Ivana en Alex Nicolic van Beltango Naast professionele musici, Ivana en Alex ook tango dansen voor 15 jaar en weten precies wat interessant en nuttig is voor ons, dansers. Zij richten zich op de structuur van tangomuziek, zodat de dansers nieuwe ideeën en mogelijkheden ontdekken om de dans nog meer te verbinden met de muziek. Zij zullen ook hun instrumenten gebruiken: de bandoneon en piano om hun boodschap live over te brengen en te illustreren. Naast vele nuttige muzikale ideeën is de workshop ook meer dan grappig. OVER BELTANGO Beltango Orquesta uit Belgrado is één van de meest gewaardeerde tango orkesten van Europa met vrolijke 'Balkan roots' en een unieke stijl met een breed bereik van zacht tot energieke tango’s. Zij spelen niet alleen nieuwe arrangementen van de mooiste oude tango’s maar ook bijzondere eigen composities met Balkan en gipsy invloeden. Een ding die zeker kunnen zij erg trots op is dat ze de enige Europese tango-orkest uitgenodigd door het ministerie van cultuur van Buenos Aires om te zingen op het World Tango Festival van Buenos Aires. Ze speelden in vele tango-shows met grote tango-artisten zoals Miguel Angel Zotto, Sebastian Arce y Mariana Montes, Gustavo Rosas y Gisela Natoli, Adrian Veredice y Alejandra Hobert, Santiago y Erna Giachello, Pablo Villarazza y Dana Frigoli. ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: 'More Than Fun Musicality' by Ivana and Alex Nicolic from Beltango Besides being professional musicians, Ivana and Alex are also dancing tango for 15 years and know exactly what is interesting and useful for us, dancers. They will focus on exercises around the structure of tango songs, so that you get new ideas and possibilities how to make the dance even more connected to the music. They will also use their instruments: the bandoneon and piano to illustrate their message. Besides many useful musical ideas, the workshop is also more than funny. ABOUT BELTANGO Beltango Orquesta from Belgrade is one of the most highly appreciated tango orchestras of Europe with joyful 'Balkan' roots and a unique style with a wide range from gentle to energizing tangos. They play not only new arrangements of the greatest traditional tangos but also spicy own compositions with Balkan and gipsy influences. Their repertoire has One thing they surely can be very proud of is that they are the only European tango orchestra invited by the Ministry of Culture of Buenos Aires to perform at the Buenos Aires World Tango Festival. They played as co-authors and musical directors in many tango-shows with some of the greatest tango artists in the world like Miguel Angel Zotto, Sebastian Arce y Mariana Montes, Gustavo Rosas y Gisela Natoli, Adrian Veredice y Alejandra Hobert, Santiago y Erna Giachello, Pablo Villarazza y Dana Frigoli.
