Panelists include: Daniel Hayes, Chaya Leia Aronson, Kristen Chamberlin, Brando & Erica Skye Roper. _______________ 5:30-6:15pm - Panel discussion 6:15-7pm - Somatic integration & small group discussions 7-7:30pm - Larger group harvest 7:30 -9pm - Open Jam _______________ Welcome to the community forum! We are initiating this forum as a way to regularly tend to the health and growth of our community by addressing topics that are important to us. Each forum will have a specific theme or topic. Our first forum, the theme will be intimacy, boundaries at the jam including where sensuality and sexuality fit or don't fit in our practice. We will start the forum with a moderated panel of 3-5 community members speaking to these issues, followed by a somatic integration exercise, small group discussions, and then open space for a larger group harvest to share and reflect. After the forum there will be a free open jam for all who attended (donations to cover rent appreciated) 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲: - How do we bring pleasure into our dance practice? - How do we hold the energy of relational seeking in the jam? - How do we welcome and celebrate each of us as erotic sexual beings AND hold the boundaries on the dance floor around sexual-erotic energy in ways that support the safety and flow of the dance? - How are we dealing with boundary crossings in this community? - What’s the difference between sensual energy and sexual energy? - How does trauma show up in our spaces? and how do we hold it? - How does this form support the transformation of rape culture? We hope this event supports a connective, abundant, evolving community!
