Silky state for elasticity, sliding trough leyers of fascia /superfiscial, bones skin, muscle, visceral, from inner to outer, ground and partner, using potential of neverended possibilities of slow movement. Cangooru state for rebound, including fascia going trough ligaments with potential for condense and expand movement trough whole tensegrity structure. Seeing how it affects contact language with bigger dynamic. We will fallow transmission trough fascia to deeper connectivity and adaptation allowing for integration of all body systems. We will experience touch trough fascia leyers to find way trough adaptative touch to maintain contact while moving, taking weight, shaping, spiraling... Yaniv is also a trained musician focusing on live composition, and a senior practitioner and teacher of ILM (Ilan lev method), in Israel and Europe. His research and teaching interest has been for many years, the connection between imagination and sensation in learning skills, and nature plays a deep role in his vocabulary, both as an image and a physical tool box. Living in Kill, Israel, with partner and 3 children ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: “The graceful chaos. Archetypes of moving water and air” Water- moving anywhere, any moment, with anything that comes. What comes up when you think of water? Along the years, I find myself drawn to water again and again. I think of them, play with them, imagine them, dream them if I’m lucky. Im not a water expert. Im interested to be in an active state, that is wrapped with water in many levels- Sensation- to feel water, their forces and qualities, their behavior. Imagination- to penetrate potentials of water, through active imagination. Being- to become, for a moment, this wholeness- infinite yet earthly and clear. This triangle- sensation imagination being , is for me a primary doorway into the dance- movement, skill, dialogue. The way it involves CI is not always clear, I hope it can give you answers to what you are looking for within this framework. I believe it does. My experience has shown me an immense transformation, in understanding the body, the partnership of body-movement- world. It sustains me when dancing and when not. It brings me back to myself time and again, Will we gain water qualities? What kind of knowledge will appear in us? How will our technique develop? Our dance? I hope for us to be soaked in water for some time. To sense what would we do if we were water- What solutions, skills, pathways would surface? What sensations our bodies would have? What thoughts, perceptions and world view would rise? Some work principles for this workshop: - Synchronisation, through deep listening - Timing, surprises and change - Responsiveness, agreeing to go anywhere together - Dynamics, being able to change gradually or immediately, to explore extremes Movement materials we will explore: - Waves, circles and wheels - Spirales - Swirls - Falls- explosion (out) and implosion (in) - Range, volume and frequency - Body states- tension and activity levels, calmness and dynamic regulation. - CI technique- shifting and moving weight around, leaning and moving together *This workshop will be accompanied with video and written material. *the work is relevant to all background and experience levels in CI or movement KATJA MUSTONEN (FIN) 29-30 June Katha is a Finnish dancer, choreographer and teacher. She graduated as a dancer 2004, and holds MA degree in "Contemporary Dance Education"(MACoDE, HfMDK,Frankfurt 2010). Since 2008, she’s been teaching Contemporary Dance, Improvisation and Contact Improvisation internationally in institutions, festivals and other venues for dance. Artistically, she keeps being interested about the states of presence and body’s ability to transform, embody, and transmit images into knowledge, emotions, language and atmospheres. Merging photography, video, sound and text together with objects continues fascinating her creating the larger body of her artistic work. Currently she works as a dancer in Dance Theater Minimi. ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: “MOMENT TO MOMENTUM” In this workshop we focus on the weight of our bodies while studying mass as it grounds, releases, suspends and flies. We make familiar how to effortlessly organize ourselves in changing circumstances and align to gravity as we move together. We train our reflexes to land safely and discover detailed pathways to gain ease when moving along different levels. We explore how scaling our physical tone can mobilize our alignment and generate dynamic momentum while giving us a sense of flight.
