CinciKiz Semba Kizomba Weekender

Get ready for this epic semba-kizomba experience in Cincinnati. David Campos, international instructor and a pioneer of Kizomba in the United States, hails from France, by way of New York. Mike and Melissa, also known as Steel City Kizomba, are two of the finest kizomba and semba dancers and instructors in the Midwest. Their passion for kizomba and semba is undeniable, as are their credentials as instructors. This weekend is designed for dancers who want to build the strongest possible foundation in their kizomba dancing by introducing semba, its precursor – the dance, the music, and the culture, and African body movement. With the fire classes these three will bring, you are sure to not only fall in love with kizomba all over again, but spark a new love for all things semba, and deepen your appreciation for the culture of both semba and kizomba. From the “semba-curious” student to the “urban-kiz” aficionado, this experience offers something for everyone. This weekend is not to be missed. The current schedule of weekend events includes 8 hours of training/workshops over Saturday and Sunday, and Friday and Saturday night socials.
