Club Mystique Reunion @ MSC 2015

The 14th Miami Salsa Congress is proud to present THE CLUB MYSTIQUE REUNION Back in the 90's, the whole Salsa scene in Miami started at a famous club called "Club Mystique." Located in the Hilton at Miami Int'l Airport, this is where many of today's known dancers, Salsa teachers & performers came from. This was were the first Casino Rueda teachers hosted classes for free and worked with the likes of Ramani Nicola, Rene Gueits and Henry Herrera, and many others, who later opened up schools of their own. Local dancers called it their "church" because they would gather on Thursdays and Sundays, almost religiously, to go dance in the only place committed to Salsa dancers. Big latin bands performed at this venue and now known celebrities, such as Marc Anthony, who passed by once in a while to mingle with the dancers, were seen there. The MSC proudly announces that it will be dedicating one night of the Congress to reuniting the original DJs, Dancers, Teachers and Owner of Club Mystique, as an homage to its significance in the dawn of our Salsa generation.
