El TANGO es patrimonio de la humanidad en tanto expresa la creatividad de una comunidad, se manifiesta en diversos formatos principalmente en la danza y en la música. Se hace presente en la vida cotidiana de los habitantes no solo de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, sino también en ciudades de todo el mundo. El Festival Cambalache (FC) nace en 2004 y desde entonces, es el único en el mundo que promueve la fusión del tango, la danza y el teatro. Ha contado con la presencia de numerosos artistas nacionales e internacionales. La novedosa diversidad de propuestas escénicas en torno al tango, ha logrado acercar a un público de amplio espectro. Asimismo, la entusiasta presencia tanto de elencos noveles como profesionales de la danza y artistas de reconocida trayectoria internacional en el tango, sigue demostrando que el Festival Cambalache refleja una necesidad de reapropiación del tango como valor que construye identidad en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. FC en IDEAME El FC esta gestionado por la Asociación Civil Cambalache. La producción del Festival es autogestiva desde sus comienzos en 2004. Cada año concursamos por subsidios oficiales de fomento a la actividad artística que es la principal fuente de financiamiento. Sin embargo, los requerimientos del Festival suelen ser mucho mayores y son los participantes de cada año los que van construyendo el Festival como una realidad: artistas, voluntarios, asistentes, organizadores. Este año 2018 sumamos una alternativa de financiamiento colectivo para hacer posible la edición XIII. A través de la plataforma IDEAME invitamos a colaborar económicamente con la producción del FC. FESTIVAL CAMBALACHE on IDEAME “This intangible cultural heritage, transmitted from generation to generation, is constantly recreated by communities and groups in response to their environment, their interaction with nature and their history [.]” (UNESCO 2003) The TANGO is an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, as it expresses the creativity of a community, manifesting itself in diverse formats, mainly in dance and music. It is present in the daily life of the inhabitants of not only the city of Buenos Aires, but also of cities throughout the world. The Cambalache Festival (CF) was born in 2004, and since then, is the only one in the world which promotes the fusion of tango, dance and theatre. It has been graced with the presence of numerous national and international artists. This innovative diversity of theatrical proposals based upon tango has successfully reached a wide spectrum of audiences. By the same token, the enthusiastic presence of both new artistic casts and professional dancers and artists with acclaimed international careers in tango, continues to demonstrate that the Cambalache Festival reflects the necessity of re-appropriating the tango as a valuable contribution to the City of Buenos Aires. FC on IDEAME The FC is managed by the Cambalache Civil Association. The production of the Festival has been self-generated since its beginnings in 2004. Each year we apply for official subsidies destined for artistic activities, which is our main source of funds. Nevertheless, the requirements of the Festival tend to be greater and it is the participants each year that build the Festival into a reality: artists, volunteers, assistants, and organizers. This year in 2018 we added the alternative of crowdfunding to make the XIII edition possible. Through the IDEAME platform, we invite you to collaborate financially with the production of CF.
