Collegiate Shag Practica (Beginnermediate)

May's parallel class will be a Collegiate Shag Practica! This will be a semi-structured hour with footwork drills and variations in addition to lots of time for practicing Collegiate Shag. Did you see something on the social floor you want to learn? Are there moves you want to break down and work on? Bring ideas for topics! We will have some in our back pocket to share as well. This class is open to anyone who is comfortable with the basic Collegiate Shag footwork and wants to spend time on intentional practice! We will not be going over the basics of collegiate shag footwork or position transitions, so if you are new, we recommend attending the beginner class. We will be operating under the assumption that attendees are coming to learn and improve. If something doesn't feel right or isn't working, request feedback from your partner or an instructor. We generally discourage unsolicited feedback. Everyone is welcome for social dancing after class! Lesson from 7-8pm Social dancing to DJ music from 8-10pm $5-15 (sliding scale) to drop in for the class and/or social dancing $30 for a 4-night-pass
