Hello everyone, Casa de Tango is extremely happy to introduce you to our guest teacher from Argentina, Jose ALMAR. Fabulous topics delivered in a refreshing teaching method as Jose used us (and this time even more, so don`t miss it!) We propose you a 4 weeks seminar during 26.10- 16.11.2016, as follows: Wednesday, 26.10.16 WS1 –Michel Foucault: “We have to rethink all what we have been told”. Clear concepts makes technique easier. The language on the Tango Embrace: let’s close the openness and open the closeness. “Show me how you walk and I will tell you who you are”, naaa… not really, I’ll give you some technique that you might forgot later, but concepts that might remain forever. Wednesday, 2.11.16 WS2 – Napoleon Bonaparte: “The end justifies the means”… well, at least during this “ethical” lesson. We will see the “Giro”, not as an end (an empty figure) but as “a mean to an end” that is not the giro actually… crazy, isn’t it? well, quite. The Giro as a key to many doors (sacadas, barridas and more). Wednesday, 9.11.16 WS3 –Arthur Schopenhauer: “If the universe is trying to tell us something, that message might be found in the music”. Musicality lesson: tips to recognize some Tango Orchestras. Musicality on Milonga rhythm. As much exercises and tips as 1 hour will let me share with you! Wednesday, 16.11.16 WS4 – Dante Alighieri: “L'amor che move il sole e l'altre stelle”. What is making us to stay or to run away in “Pausas”? Where are embellishments coming from? Are we, with the embellishments, showing something or hidding it? It is a lesson to fill ourselfs of questions and to find together some individual answers. Pausas and adornos. You might consider the topics as high level. High level, indeed, as content quality! If you are a 6 months tango dancer, at least, this seminar is for you!
