BACHATEA AMATEUR (Parejas no profesionales, ninguno obtiene dinero por el baile de bachata como profesor o artista, MAYORES DE 18 AÑOS) VIERNES 15 FEBRERO - CATEGORY: - Amateur: Defined as a student or person who does not make a living as a Dance Instructor, Performer, Dance Competitor or Dance Adjudicator and who never receives financial compensation for these activities. - Only amateur dancers are admitted, max 20 couples, OVER 18 YEARS (minimum age: 18 years old) This category includes those who were born in: 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997 etc. - REGULATION: The length of the music shall be from 2:00 to 2:30 minutes. The music must be 100% bachata (a maximum of 3 songs can be used). A maximum of four (4) lifts can be performed. OVER 18 YEARS (minimum age: 18 years old) This category includes those who were born in: 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997 etc. - REGULATION: Every round the dj select song of bachata fusion and dominican No lifts allowed Is social dance ********************************************************** BACHATEA RISING STARS (OVER 19 -COUPLE) - CATEGORY: OVER 19 category (minimum age: 19 years old) This category includes those who were born in: 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997 etc. - REGULATION: The length of the music shall be from 2:00 to 2:30 minutes. The music must be 100% bachata (a maximum of 3 songs can be used). A maximum of four (4) lifts can be performed. ****************************************************** BACHATEA FUSION (COUPLE) y (GROUPS) - CATEGORY: UNDER 15 (8 to 15 years old) 0VER 16 (over 16 years old) FOR GROUPS ALL AGE ARE ADMITED - REGULATION: The length of the music shall be from 2:00 to 2:30 minutes. The music must be 50% bachata (a maximum of 3 songs can be used). Bachatea fusion category is for mix bachata with other rhythms. ( ex: salsa, merengue, hip-hop, ballet, modern , afro ecc..) A maximum of four (4) lifts can be performed. ************************************************** BACHATEA SOLO MALE - CATEGORY: UNDER 15 (8 to 15 years old) OVER 16 (over 16 years old) - REGULATION: The length of the music shall be from 1:00 to 2:00 minutes. The music must be 80% bachata (a maximum of 3 songs can be used). The competitor can include different styles as long as they are less or equal to the 20% of the music track. *********************************************** BACHATEA SOLO FEMALE - CATEGORY: UNDER 15 (8 to 15 years old) 0VER 16 (over 16 years old) - REGULATION: The length of the music shall be from 1:00 to 2:00 minutes. The music must be 80% bachata (a maximum of 3 songs can be used). The competitor can include different styles as long as they are less or equal to the 20% of the music track. BACHATEA DUO MALE/DUO FEMALE - CATEGORY: UNDER 15 (8 to 15 years old) OVER 16 (over 16 years old) - REGULATION: The length of the music shall be from 1:00 to 2:00 minutes. The music must be 80% bachata (a maximum of 3 songs can be used). The competitor can include different styles as long as they are less or equal to the 20% of the music track. A maximum of four (4) lifts can be performed. BACHATEA GROUPS - CATEGORY: UNDER 15 (8 to 15 years old) OVER 16 (over 16 years old) - REGULATION: A group is regarded as a team of 3 or more dancers. “Out of category” dancers are ammitted (those members who exceed or are under the age of the category) but they must compose or be under the 25% of the group composition (1 out of 4). The length of the music shall be from 2:00 to 3:30 minutes. The music must be 80% bachata (a maximum of 3 songs can be used). The inclusion of different styles is ammitted as long as they are less or equal to the 20% of the music track. Lifts are ammitted. ********************************************************************************** 13 .- BACHATEA GROUPS SAME GENDER - CATEGORY: UNDER 15 (8 to 15 years old) OVER 16 (over 16 years old) - REGULATION: A group is regarded as a team of 3 or more dancers of the same gender . “Out of category” dancers are ammitted (those members who exceed or are under the age of the category) but they must compose or be under the 25% of the group composition (1 out of 4). The music must be 100% bachata (a maximum of 3 songs can be used). A maximum of four (4) lifts are ammitted. BACHATEA Semipro - CATEGORY: Over 18. - CHOREGRAPHY: The length of the music shall be from 2:00 to 2:30 minutes. The music must be 100% bachata (a maximum of 3 songs can be used). A maximum of four (4) lifts are ammitted. __________________________________________________________ 15 .- BACHATEA JACK & JILL (inscripcion individual pero baile en pareja) - CATEGORY: Maximum 100 person admitted, 50 boys and 50 girls. En primera ronda bailaran en grupos de maximo 10 parejas juntas cada vez 2 canciones, y los jueces salvaran al 50% de participantes. En Segunda Ronda todos bailaran en un solo grupo durante 3 canciones y los jueces selecionaran solo a 5 chicos y 5 chicas , ronda final bailaran 1 cancion y los jueces seleccionaran al chico y chica ganadores. en cada ronda las parejas cambiaran al azar. In the first round they will dance in groups of maximum 10 couples together each time 2 songs, and the judges will save 50% of participants. In Second Round all will dance in a single group for 3 songs and the judges will select only 5 boys and 5 girls, final round will dance 1 song and the judges will select the boy and girl winners. in each round the couples will change randomly.
