Conga & Sabor Training with Jorge & Maria

Infusion Dance is excited to announce that we are bringing Multiple Times World Champions: Jorge Martinez & Maria Catalan to Austin to our Conga & Sabor Social. With an emphasis on continuing the training of our community, we are having them do two different training dynamics to fit everyone's level & needs. Intensive Clinic 3 hrs - 2pm - 5pm For Team Directors & Int/Adv Dancers $50/person Their technique and musicality intensive clinic is designed for team directors & advanced dancers who want to deepen their understanding in musicality, interpretation, timing and technique for social dancing, performances & even competitions. Jorge & Maria trained directly with Fernando Sosa from Italy and they hold the rights for his famous Salsa Na’Ma in Mexico. They also serve as judges for International competitions such as Las Vegas Salsa Congress, The Summit, among others. In addition, they are also the organizer’s of one of the largest congresses in Oaxaca, Mexico. Open Level 1.5 workshop 9pm-10:30pm- For everyone $25/person This class will start with a 30 minute theoretical explanation outlining the structure, instruments used and interpretation of salsa music, with an opportunity for asking questions. It will then be followed by one hour practice of musical interpretation with a simple (but fun) combo that could be applied socially or in performances. Regardless of which option you choose, we are offering a discounted group package (5 people), so get your friends together and come learn & dance with these amazing instructors.
