Connecting through Contact Improvisation Dance: A Fundamentals Intro for People New to This Dance

• Learn how to create partner dances through fun, simple activities. • Fine tune your ability to listen and respond to each moment. • Discover the intelligence of your body moving in and out of physical contact. Request you wear clothes without exposed zippers, buckles, buttons or anything else which could scratch. Avoid skirts. Recommend bringing water bottle with a screwtop. To support dancers with sensitivities and allergies, please avoid using scented products (such as scented deodorants, shampoos, detergents, dryer sheets, incense, essential oils) and keep your dance clothes away from pet hair/dander. Cost: $20 for the intro class, lunch, and dancing time until 2 pm. You have the option to upgrade your registration to attend more of the jam.
