Your instructors will vary but you will be starting with Kristen Shaw!
Kristen has been dancing since the age of three and has amassed experience in multiple styles including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, Lindy hop and west coast swing, amongst others. She is on the WSDC competition circuit at an All Star level competitor and has competed in routine divisions. Her philosophy in teaching dance is based around getting the technique down so students can focus on having fun!
Kristen enjoys many aspects of contributing to the community through teaching, event organization, but particularly through deejaying, which she has done locally in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York for the last few years. She's also a deejay at national level events, including BTP and New Years Dance Extravaganza and enjoys watching people having fun on the floor!
