Consent Week Dance

Would you like to dance? Join us for an evening of dance during Queen's Consent Week with a beginner lesson and social on September 20th! This event is a collaboration with @qusvprs! We are excited to be working with their team to offer this evening free to students. Community member entry is welcome with donation. Proceeds will be given to Kingston Interval House and Sexual Assault Centre Kingston. We will be in the Fireside Room in Ban Righ Hall (10 Bader Lane). Doors open at 6:40 PM. We will start the evening with a beginner lesson at 7:00 PM. Join us after at 8:00 PM for our social dance where you can ask others to dance and practice your new moves. Swing is a family of energetic, improvisational partnered and solo dances set to the big band jazz music of the 30’s and 40’s. No experience, partner, or fancy shoes are required - all are welcome!
