Welcome this friday evening in Ghent for our 2-weekly contactimpro friday jam. We meet into dance, joining an open, mixed level jam space to train, explore and celebrate the practice of contact improvisation. arriving at 19h guided warmup at 19h30, followed by an open jam space cllosing cercle 👉 ABOUT A CONTACT IMPRO JAM ● a jam is a co-responsibility space to dance, train, deepen and celebrate the practice of contact improvisation (CI) ● CI starts from exploration while moving through space, in contact with someone else, sharing and carrying weight along the way ● all levels of experience are welcome ● there is no fixed rhythm or music style. We dance and co-create with music ánd with silence ● dancing can happen in duo's, trio's, alone or with the whole space and group ● dances can last short or long,transform and find new chapters ● whenever you feel stuck: take a step, and the next one will find its way 😊 ● Let's keep the dance the focus!
