This is for YOU: You are invited to FLOW with us! ♥ We will start with a circle, warm up and leading into the jamming . What is a CI JAM ? It is simply a free flowing playground where we can move solo, duet, trio or with any number of individuals that we connect and move with. It is spontaneous, abstract & and play full while at the same time gives you a deeper understanding of your body in terms of how your muscles move, interact and react to various possibilities and limitations of the space, ambiance & the individuals around. The improvisation aspect keeps you aware, curious & present, going into the unknown territory in every moment & helps you break away from the conditioning done by professions, skills, personalities, cultures etc. FACILITATOR Facilitator's Bio: Guru Suraj He started practicing C.I. 9 years ago and hasn't stopped since. Guru is the founder of the Contact Improv India Organization, which focuses on spreading Contact Improv around India and making it accessible for everybody. One of the initiatives of C.I. is the exchange of cultures utilizing contact dance to reach as many people as possible. He is also a member of the Goa Contact Festival, that has taken place annually for the past 8 years. In addition to C.I., Guru has a BFA in Painting and MPhil in Yoga & Meditation studies.
