Contact Improv w Live Music

Join us to participate in contact improvisation dance accompanied by live music. This Sunday, we are proud to welcome James Vitz-Wong to the Santa Monica Contact Improv jam to weave a musical fabric into the motion of our dance... For this special jam, the hours will be from 6:30 - 10:00pm, at Dance Home in Santa Monica. Dance Home is located on the south side of the street at 522 Santa Monica Blvd. between 5th and 6th Streets in Santa Monica, Come Join the fun! The jam starts off with a beginner friendly warm-up/mini class. B i o g r a p h y James Vitz-Wong is a multi-disciplinary performer and designer from Seattle, WA, pursuing an MFA in Performance and Composition at CalArts. James previously studied classical bass and electronic composition at Oberlin Conservatory, and currently focuses on live digital processing, improvisation, dance, and interactivity.
