Contact Improv Workshop

CHANCE Academy invite you to Explore Contact Improvisation: A Journey of self-discovery and collaboration and embodied expression through movement & connection. Join us for an immersive workshop on Contact Improvisation, a dynamic and collaborative form of movement exploration. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of contact improvisation and delve into the rich world of physical communication, trust-building, and improvisation. You will learn how to: 👉🏻 Find and maintain points of contact 👉🏻 Communicate through touch 👉🏻 Move in response to yourself, your partners & the environment 👉🏻 Explore a variety of movement possibilities No prior dance experience is necessary. All levels are welcome. All you need is an open mind, a willingness to explore, and a desire to connect with others through movement. 🙋🏻 The workshop will be led by Phúc Source, an experienced instructor from Vietnam Contact Improv. 🌿 Come prepared in comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
