Contact Improv Zouk Partner Dance Workshop

Hour One: Contact Improv with Sarah • learn mechanics and energy of creating movement with a leader and follower Hour Two: Brazilian Zouk Basics with Grace • Learn 6 basic steps and use improvisation to fit any music Hour Three: Social Dance, ecstatic dance playground • Meet new people on the dance floor, chill in the zouk lounge, spend time alone in the observation space No experience necessary, will accommodate ALL LEVELS. There will be something for everyone. YOU DO NOT NEED A PARTNER TO ATTEND. We will be rotating partners. There is no gender considered. Platonic intimacy is encouraged. Everyone leads and follows, your “no” is always accepted, and learning is the focus. Bring: socks, water, a small towel, extra shirt, deodorant, mints.
