Contact Improvisation Class

Please join our last CI class this year! Magic point of contact In this class we will go deeper into the point of contact. How can it be a well of information about ourselves, our partner and the earth that we stand on? We will go back to the beginning and fundamental aspects of contact improvisation - the point of contact between two (or more) moving bodies. What can we sense there and how can we harness the information from this point? How can we find a clear anchor in our connection through this physical point? How can sense the ground from there? We will explore fixed point of contact, sliding point, rolling point and how to connect to our sensations and structure. It is a celebration of the place where skin meets skin and where our bones have the chance to surf each other. Welcome! Marie and Yevhen are experienced contact dancers with various backgrounds from somatics and movement. We are happy to share our passion and this dance form in Tbilisi.
