CONTACT IMPROVISATION CLASS - with Martin Hughes This class will be an open, general-level Contact Improvisation class. It will focus on some of the basic ideas and fundamental physical practices of CI and will be a good introduction for beginners and a deepening practice for those who have more experience. Please let the organisers know in advance if you have any access requirements. A little about Martin.. Martin Hughes started learning CI in New York in the late 1980s and started teaching when he returned to Australia in the early 90's. He has taught in community halls, festivals, high schools, universities and professional theatre and dance companies. He’s serious about finding the fun and talks and laughs way too much in class. Consider yourself warned.
