CONTACT IMPROVISATION Series February/March 2017 Anir Leben & Nadja Schwarzenbach 01.02. - 22.03.2017 R e l a x & R e a c h Wednesdays 6 - 8 pm In this CI Series we aim for learning and remembering the kind of relaxation in the body that allows us to reach the cat-like smoothness in movement that makes everything more enjoyable and juicy in dancing Contact Improvisation. We will give and receive weight, explore how to give into what is, roll, slide, play and dance it! We will enjoy new and old material in a holistic body-mind-approach. There will be some solo-dancing-time and some integration-time to enjoy what we worked on. Anir and Nadja are happy to share the creme-de-la-creme of the many years of their CI practice in this Intensive. I am embedded in the CI community through dancing, teaching and organising CI events. I am co-organiser of the Contact Festivals Berlin (www.in-touch.es), the Contact meets Contemporary Festival in Göttingen (www.contact-meets-contemporary.de) and I am part of the Out of Berlin Jam team (www.outofberlinjam.com). In teaching CI I love offering spaces for experiencing the joy of being at home in a moveable and connected body.
