Attraverso immagini molto semplici attraverseremo il concetto di pieno/vuoto e di ciò che sta nel mezzo, estremizzando i tanti ‘ruoli’ che possiamo scegliere in una danza e che possiamo cambiare continuamente, alla ricerca di uno stimolo interno che viaggia da noi al partner e nello spazio. Tecnicamente è una proposta sul tono, sulla carica di movimento e sulla connessione, per arricchire e sfruttare ogni momento quel che c’è nel duo. Nel solo, useremo l’immagine della sfera per danzare gli spazi interni ed esterni del nostro corpo, per danzare con il pavimento, per giocare con i momenti di disequilibrio e per uscire dal solito ‘schema frontale’, scoprendo le infinite direzioni possibili. Peso, momentum, ascolto, spirali. E danzeremo. LINDA BUFALI BIO Provando a fare teatro, nel ’98 incontro/scontro questa "danza strana". Dopo qualche anno mi sono accorta che ero ancora lì a sudare, cadere, ridere e sentire... quindi decido di approfondire ed entro nel fantasmagorico mondo dei workshop e dei festival incontrando/scontrando insegnanti strani che mi hanno aiutato a sudare, cadere, ridere e sentire ancora meglio. Se fosse possibile pagherei per dimenticare tutto e ricominciare da capo, rifare il viaggio! Ma non si può. Dal 2008 insegno in molte comunità italiane (e Italy Contact Festival 2015) e all'estero (Madrid, Lleida, Alcoi, Paesi Baschi, Colonia, Israeli Contact Festival, Ukraina Contact Festival, Barcellona Contact Festival, Asturias Contact Festival, In Touch Barcellona) Insegnare per me è un po’ come rifare il viaggio, conoscendo la strada ma portando un altro bagaglio e sperare sempre in qualche incontro/scontro interessante. Ho organizzato eventi con la volontà di diffondere la CI il più possibile (Contact Camp e CicloNomade) perchè credo sia una straordinaria, potentissima e sana Rivoluzione che parte da noi, dal corpo. Personalmente vivo il contact come il modo migliore che ho in questa vita per incontrare qualcuno fuori dal compromesso sociale e per mantenere viva la spinta verso il movimento. La vita è movimento, muoversi in due accelera la consapevolezza. Intention or absence of expectations. Giving or receiving. We will use very simple images to experience the concept of fullness / emptiness and what is in the middle. We will push to the exteme many 'roles' that we can choose during the dance and that we can change all the time, looking for an internal stimulus that travels from us to partner and to the space. Technically it is a proposal on the tone, on the load of movement and connection, to enrich and enjoy every moment what's in the duo. When working in solo, we will use the image of the ball to dance the internal and external space of our body, to dance with the floor, to play with moments of disequilibrium to exit from our usual 'frontal pattern', discovering the endless directions. Weight, momentum, listening, spirals. And we'll dance. LINDA BUFALI BIO While I was trying to study acting, in 1998, l bumped into...and against this “weird dance”. After few years I realized I was still there, sweating, falling, laughing and feeling. So I decided to go deeper into it, entering the phantasmagorical world of workshops and festivals, bumping into and against strange teachers who helped me sweating, falling , laughing and feeling even better. I’d give anything to forget all that so to start again, off for the journey again! But it's not possible! Since 2008, I have been teaching in Italy (intensive workshops in many communities and Italy Contact Festival '15), abroad (intensive workshop in Madrid, Lleida, Alcoi, Colon, Basque Country, Amsterdam, Israeli Contact Festival '16, Dancefullnes Ukraine '16) and I have been organising events to help Contact Improvisation spread as much as possible (I am one of the founders of the Italy CI Camp). It's a bit as make the journey from the start, knowing the path but taking a different luggage with you; and always hoping to bump into/against something interesting. I see contact dance as the best way I have in this lifetime to meet someone outside the social contract and to keep my drive for movement alive. Life is movement, moving in pairs accelerates awareness. I deeply believe that contact improvisation is potentially, a big, healthy revolution.
