See below for details! *** What's danced? - Tango with elements from Contact-Improvisation - Contact-Improvisation with elements from Tango - Just Tango... - ...or just Contact-Improvisation. - Tango or Contact-Improvisation with elements from any movement art, including but not limited by physical theater, martial arts, other dance forms. In other words, you're welcome to stay within, out of, or just on the lines as much as you (and your dance partner) like. All levels and areas of experience are welcome. Coming with a partner is not necessary. *** Details Location: WG-Terrein, Ketelhuisplein 47, 1054RD Amsterdam (ring: "Grote Zaal"). Arbert "In this workshop I share my way of approaching Tango, from the different disciplines and above all, listening to the beat of our hearts. We will play with some elements of the Tango and Contact,improvising solos, duets and in group." About Jorge: Artist born in Neuquén-Argentina, studied theatre and dance, national prize from de Antorchas Foundation with the street opera Albatri and selected for a study grant in dance for the National Foundation of Art. Since 2000 lives and works in Amsterdam, making many different works as maker, performer and teacher of tango and dance-theater, developing the interaction with the audience. His work is based in the fusion of the different disciplines: theatre,tango, and modern dance. Since 2008 he organizes, for first time in Amsterdam, workshops of Queer Tango (changing roles). He performed his solo "Distant Love..."in the Tango Queer Festival Buenos Aires, in Rotterdam, Amsterdam,Stockholm, Hamburg, Mexico and Madrid.
