Dates :- 27th and 28th Feb 2016 Timings :- 10am to 1pm Fees :- 1200 for both days, 600 for single day. WORKSHOP TITLE :- INVESTIGATING LANGUAGE Investigating Language..... "Inviting and getting Introduced to your senses, feelings, vibrations, breathing; or being sensitive, harsh, gentle, soft, curious, secure- insecure on your Different Body parts to Discover new Moving Vocabulary / Language." To give a more comprehensive view on a different aspects. This workshop deals with transformation of movement and the building of deep dance vocabularies that derives from a conscious stepping out of our comfort zone. Warm Up consists of body work, floor work, influence from different disciplines like yoga,chi gong,martial arts etc to build a common energy. Sequences inspired from hiphop, African contemporary, flying low, and other contemporary techniques and martial arts such as Kalaripayattu and Capoeira and also few bits and parts from his Movement research practise. Further there is a room for Choreographic task/methods to explore in various ways,which will give an input in your own choreographic work, also developing one's own movement language through somatic tasks,improvisation, understanding spaces, your body and control and exchange of body weight with a partner/contact work. Although very physical there are also moment to shift the focus and pay attention to the body by releasing using massage and relaxing exercise. Class will follow a clear structure never breaking the flow systematically guiding one from the beginning to the end. About the Instuctor. Prashant More, An Performing Artist, Instructor and Choreographer from India, Studied dance in India and Europe, Trained in hip hop, b-boying, Contemporary, Ballet technique, Bharatanatyam Kalaripayattu (Martial arts) release technique, Flying low. etc. Experienced in teaching various age groups in India and Europe. Performed throughout India and Europe, experienced in Performing in Indian film industry Documenties and music albums.
