INHABITING DANCING
What is beautiful dancing?
Why do you dance the way you do?
In INHABITING DANCING you will learn about process of dancing/making. The workshop will provide different frames of works, sequence/ tasks/ methords through which you will be invited to pracitce and expand your awareness of what your interests relating to movement or physical performances are.
Getting out of your comfort zone and entering into your own authentic, natural movement language, new form, through different dynamics, time and space.
The workshop will unfold through two chapters,
First chapter consist of Warm up, including body work, floor work, influenced from Yoga, Qui Gong, martial arts b-boying etc to build a comman eneryg. Technique into sequences, Introduction to Flying low. The next step will be holding on to a chosen lead of investigation, to inhabit it for a stretched length of time. Choreographic / improvisation task to explore in various ways, which will give an input in your own choreographic work also developing one's own movement language through somatic task, improvisation, understading space, your body and control and exchange of body weight with contact improvisation task. Although very physical using there is also moment to shift focus and pay attention to body by releasing using massage and relaxing exercise. Working will filow a clear structure never breaking the flow, systematically guiding one from beginning to the end.
Workshop will be Dancers, non dancers, theatre Artists, athletics etc.

About the Facilitator.
Prashant More, A contemporary performing Artist Dancer Choreographer and a teacher.
Trained in Contemporary, Hip hop, Bharatanatyam, Ballet, Kalaripayattu( Indian Martial Arts) Flying Low.
Complected Diploma in movement arts and mixed media from Attakkalari centre for movement arts and also worked a repertorary dancer and instructor.
Choreographic Course in Amsterdam.
Experimental physical performance in Berlin.
Interdisciplinary project and visual Arts in Bali.
