CONTEMPORARY DANCE PARTNERING FLOOR WORK TECHNIQUE

with Michael Langeneckert marameo SUMMER PROGRAM 2024 22.–26.07.2024, 20:15–22:00 Level: Intermediate Body work, partnering technique, floor work, exploration and development of individual possibilities, perception of body and space. This workshop offers an insight into the complex world of floor work technique and contemporary partnering, as well as the connection and complementation of the two elements. The warm-up phase alternates between open structures and fixed sequences, which are first used in partnering and then alone in the room. The aim of the workshop is to develop a constant flow of movement, to use body weight in a variety of ways and to use gravity and momentum as a motor for our movements.
