Country Throwdown with Brittney, Julie, and Don🤠

7:15 PM | Two Step Lesson taught by Julie & Don ($10 or $5 with Open Dance Admission)🤩 8 to 10 PM | Open Dance, Dance, Dance tunes by Brittney Valdez til you drop, drop, drop!! ($15) Join us for our monthly Country Social, Country Throwdown! We’ll open at 7:15 pm with a Country Two Step lesson and follow that up with open dancing from 8 - 10pm. On Country Night dressing down (aka dance boots and cowboy hats) is appropriate but not required. Country dancing includes many crossover dances to Ballroom so our mix of music will allow for dancing Country Two Step, Cha Cha, Nightclub, Waltz, West Coast Swing, Hustle, East Coast Swing, Double Two Step, and a few line dances. Be sure to check it out! **Don’t know ALL the dance styles listed? No problem! We play songs with an intended style in mind but also make a point to call out other dance style options to encourage you to spend a majority of your time on the dance floor using the dances you feel most comfortable with. Complimentary water and snacks are a staple offering at all Strut open dance events to help keep you energized for a whole evening of dancing. Feel free to come early and grab a drink or bite to eat downstairs at Josephine’s or Michael Anthony’s Pizza, or across the street at MORE Brewing Company or DeMito’s Saloon.
