Creative Movement & Composition - workshop with 'Horokodile' in Budapest

CREATIVE MOVEMENT & COMPOSITION Workshop FACILITATORS : 'HOROKODILE Dance & More' - dancers Ayumi Toyabe (JP) and Olga Uzikaeva (RU) TYPE : Open Level, everyone is welcome, no dance experience required STYLE : Improvisation, Contemporary dance, Butoh WORKSHOP OVERVIEW : Japanese-Hungarian dancer Ayumi Toyabe and Russian-Serbian dancer Olga Uzikaeva are inviting you for the movement workshop at the ZéróPlusz Dance Studio in Budapest. This workshop is based on improvisation and instant composition in solos, duos, smaller groups. Olga and Ayumi will share their experience of instant collaboration and art of creating something out of nothing. People with both dance experience and without are welcome! Wear something comfortable, be barefoot or in socks. Feel free to take notes. Enjoy! ABOUT US : HOROKODILE is a collaboration of Japanese and Russian dance artists Ayumi Toyabe and Olga Uzikaeva who met first in Belgrade (Serbia) where they participated together in the project BEHIND ENTHUSIASM by Serbian visual artist Neda Kovinic (October 2018) and later continued working together in Budapest (March and July 2019) on their first two common projects: choreographic piece ONE&1 (choreography - Ayumi Toyabe; dancers - A. Toyabe, O. Uzikaeva); and a long-term sight specific project HANDOVER which is being realized in different landscapes, urban and natural surroundings. In October 2019th HOROKODILE was chosen for the two weeks artistic residency in Helmond, the Netherlands, with a new dance piece Flip Flop which dancers are going to develop and present at the Annatheater on 26th of October at 20:30.
