CSDS Halloween Dance and Costume Contest - October 18th

DJ: Ed Tharnish LOCATION: Municipal Arts Center 1119 5th St SW, Charlottesville, VA 22902-6480, United States TIME: - Dance: 8-10:30pm - Board member election and costume contest Get ready for a spooktacular night of West Coast Swing as we dance the night away in costume! Join us for our annual Halloween Costume Contest—prizes await. So have those most creative, creepy, and clever looks ready for the floor. Plus, help shape the future of our community by casting your vote in our yearly director elections. Don’t miss this thrilling combo of dancing, costumes, and community spirit! And what’s Halloween without some sweet treats? Our very own Kim Perkins will be serving up her famously delicious Halloween goodies—homemade with love and just the right amount of spooky flair. Come for the dancing, stay for the snacks! Each October we host our Annual Meeting & Election of Directors, as set forth in our bylaws. At the meeting, the Nominating Committee presents candidates for the Board. Elections are held—by acclamation unless contested—and newly elected Directors take office in January.
