CTF 2016 ∞ Neotango DJ Workshop with Elio Astor (Rome)

with DJ Elio "Ástor" 12:00 - 15:00 Before dancing tango, Elio was a club DJ, and he uses the professional DJ software “Traktor”. Now he is putting all his efforts to spread the culture of NeoTango, which invites Argentinan tango community to dance on modern music by applying the biomechanics and techniques of connection, embrace and improvisation to the experiences and emotions of the world heritage of music. Elio uses pro DJ techniques to take dancers on new journeys. In his workshop, he’ll teach: -basics of Neotango -how to collect and classify music -how to use dj equipment -how to shape the music into an evening of dancing -techniques to do the next step from music selector to dj/groovemaster Elio is invited a lot worldwide as a DJ for Neotango and he is running a lot of own events, that he is organising himself. One of these events is the Roma NeoTangomarathon. The price is € 50 / person to be payed cash just before the workshop.
