Elio "Ástor" has been a DJ since 1995 and has applied the techniques of live-mix to tango since 2007. He describes the music as ‘neotango’, which invites Argentine Tango to become contemporary by applying its techniques for connection and improvisation to the experiences and emotions of the world heritage of music.
The Berlin trio plays Milonga Roots various tunes with the rhythms that are native of the Rio de la Plata: Tango, Milonga, Vals, Zamba and Argentine folklore. The trio explores the African roots of the rhythms of tango, with the piano as the leading instrument.
Pablo Woiz unfolds his passion for the music of his home country, pays tribute to the great masters, and develops tango through his own interpretation and understanding, creating his own musical language. The double bass and percussion compliments Pablo's vision and discovers new paths for the trio. Or Rozenfeld from Israel fascinates spectators with his way of combining his whole body with the sounds and movements of the instrument. Martín Iannaconne, percussionist, known by the band Tango Crash and his accompaniment for Annett Louisan, is the third musical voice. Already with Tango Crash, an important band in Germany who has pioneered the Tango, he revealed his mastery of percussion and his enthusiasm for subtle interplay.
