The 29th US-Cuba Pastors-for-Peace National Friendship Caravan is coming to Ithaca! Learn about exciting people-to-people cultural and educational exchange projects, and how you can participate. Learn about the Cuban healthcare system and its role in global medical care. Learn about US-Cuba relations, the effects of sanctions and empire, and much else that the media won’t tell you. Enjoy delicious authentic Cuban food with Chef Roy Josef (vegan/vegetarian options included), with live music by Jonathan Kline, Dan Zakalik and Genji Onishi, and DJd music with Michael Luis. Meet other community members and activists. Watch an award winning 30 minute documentary "Dare to Dream," followed by presentation. And learn Cuban dance, Salsa en Rueda de Casino, with an introductory lesson, and dance for as long as you wish into the night. 8:30PM DARE TO DREAM Documentary by Jennifer Wager
This 30-minute movie tells the story of the largest medical school in the world, the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) in Havana, Cuba. Through the stories of ELAM graduates from the US who received full scholarships from the Cuban government, we learn how ELAM is revolutionizing healthcare on a global level.

BUILDING ENTRY & PARKING
First Baptist Church, Ithaca, has NO street-side entrance. We are in the back corner of DeWitt Park in downtown Ithaca - surrounded by Buffalo, Cayuga, Court & Tioga Streets. Parking is available on these streets and there is a county parking lot - free and open for the Cuba Caravan event - around the building with access from Tioga or Court Streets.
