Movements. This footwork only class starts with a dynamic warm up that incorporates both stationary and traveling variations for encouraging body mobility. We progresses to the footwork and timing breakdown needed to move in and out of different feelings created by the music. This class forms the foundation for adding a partner in Part 2. (60 minutes) at Edgewood Arts Center - 3415 8th St NE Part Two (Workshop 2) 3 to 4pm Using the foundation from Part 1, we focus on the different ways to “FREESTYLE” on the dance floor with a Partner. How to dance without remembering a combination and how to incorporate the elements from Part 1 into your social “CONVERSATION” without words on the dance floor. We will also explore the idea of how to “Well” combine linear and circular dancing.
