Cuban Salsa and Son - Solo Class

Welcome to the first FSS workshop of the year!!! This time we will focus on the rhythm changes, deepen our understanding of the Clave and get more familiar with dancing on two, contratiempo. Why dance on two? 🎶 Well, Cuban Son you just dance on two, with an emphasis on the 4 and 8, but also most of the Timba songs feel better when dancing on two. If you haven’t started your on-two-journey yet, start it now!!! You don’t need to have experience in dancing contratiempo, we will start from the basics. But if you do, you can concentrate more on the weight shifting, body posture and styling details that Antti will give you. To put it another way, this is an open level solo class.
