Cuban Salsa Party & Special Workshops (Cha-Cha-Cha)

RCR hosts a Cuban Dance Party every 1st Saturday of the month at Lake Merritt Dance in Oakland. This month Sidney is back, teaching two workshops including Cha-Cha-Chá (featuring live percussion with Ryan). We are offering three workshops this month. At 5:00pm Ryan will offer a Rhythm & Listening class on some of the fundamental percussive rhythms of Cuban percussion (martillo del bongó, marcha de la tumbadora, and others). Then at 6:15pm Sidney will be offering a Cha-Cha-Chá class (Levels 2 and higher). Then at 7:30pm we offer a 1-on-1 social dancing Salsa-Casino class — intermediate/advanced taught this month by Sidney as well as a beginning level (two separate levels taught in different rooms simultaneously).
