Our guest Teacher-DJ Yersin was born in Cuba and since an early age was part of different dance activities at his local Casa de La Cultura in Cuba. He also danced in the Hotel Jagua's Cabaret Show for many years. Now based in Newcastle leading Salsafro School, Yersin has been in the UK for approx 12 years and has established himself as one of the leading Cuban Instructors teaching dances such as Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, La Rueda, Rumba, Guaguanco, Y Bailes Afro Cubanos in different Clubs events and congresses throughout the UK. Yersin also featured in different TV series broadcast on both the BC and ITV Channels relating to the Cuban Culture and has performed with Homero Gonzales Cubana Cabaret in some of the major UK congresses.
Yersin Salsafro Rivas is one of the Top Cuban DJ's playing in the UK at Major Festival and Club Nights and loves to keep the crowd dancing nonstop to the hottest tracks and providing tremendous energy with his entertaining Animations.
Yersin has previously taught and DJ here in Glasgow invited by Tumbao Salsa School and it is a great pleasure to have him back with us once again.
