We will weave our personal mastery with our ever expanding exploration of the mysteries of improv to find presence in play. Improvisation is the ultimate life skill so join us and refine your contact tools. Bio: Raina Satori is a veteran teacher of workshops and classes for the last 20 years in the Bay Area. She teaches movement because she feels play and improvisation is how we evolve. She has been apprentice to Anna Halprin and has studied with Martin Keogh, Constantine Darling and Nancy Stark Smith. While her studies have been quite serious, her sense of humor and joy of levity shines through her teaching all while giving participants clear grounded instruction in the formless form of improv. She has been featured in Yoga Journal Magazine, Conscious Dancer Magazine, Marin IJ, Project 52 and the San Francisco Chronicle for her creative, ingenious expressions in dance and performance art and was Awarded "Most Revolutionary Spirit Guide" in the best of the East Bay. She is featured as a CI teacher for Ecstatic Dance Retreat at Kalani, NCDC dance camps, Ecstatic Dances in Oakland, San Francisco, Fairfax, and Nevada City. She has taught at LIB, Symbiosis, Soul Play, Burning Man, Convergence Festival and many many more.
