Kumbia Boruka is a multicultural band based in Lyon, France, with nine musicians from Mexico, Argentina and France, while their roots lie in the city of Monterrey in northern Mexico. The band's music reflects the sound of the Mexican streets: classic Colombian cumbia mixed with influences from reggae, dub and tropical music - psychedelic electric guitar melodies, an extensive rhythm section including guacharaca and congas, powerful and exciting brass arrangements and the brilliant sound of the accordion. The result is a modern and conscious cumbia, hybrid and full of power, intense tropical sounds with a fierce energy that embraces the rhythms of Latin America. Their lyrics explore the paths of life and speak of dreams and illusions, struggle and resistance, hope. Stories told from the perspective of an emigrant who carries the memory of his homeland in his heart with every step he takes. 🌼 LA TERRORISTA DEL SABOR unleashes wild rhythms through her music, taking a vibrant and provocative message around the world. Behind the project is Mariana, who was born in Colombia and has lived in Mexico for a long time. She is an accordionist, singer, composer, producer and creator of a musical universe that exudes flavour, joy, transgression, cumbia, rock, electronic sounds and punk in a show full of humour and energy. Fusiona diferentes géneros creando un estilo experimental entre la música tropical, rap, cumbia, merengue y rock con un toque electrónico y post punk. La Terrorista del Sabor te lleva a un viaje sonoro junto con su acordeón que sumerge en un mundo visceral cargado de crítica social y humor.
