CURSO DE FORMACIÓN PARA INSTRUCTORES Y BAILARINES DE MZOUK 5º EDICIÓN

El 8 de enero de 2013 se iniciará un curso para todo aquel que quiera formarse como instructor y bailarín de Mzouk. El curso consta de 6 clases semanales, en las que se trabajará técnica Mzouk, contact improvisation, interpretación, base técnica, contemporáneo, método didáctico y coreografía e improvisación en escenario. El profesorado compuesto por Natividad Insua, Alba Díaz, Leticia Estévez y Daniel Estévez como maestros de las disciplinas regulares y Gegê (creador del Mzouk) como maestro invitado, serán los que evaluarán al alumnado para conseguir un certificado que respalde al estudiante como instructor y bailarín de Mzouk. Todo el alumnado de la formación podrá acceder a todas las clases de Mzouk que se impartan en el centro Spiral Dance sin ningún coste adicional. El curso tiene una duración de un año y un coste de 125 euros mensuales para aquellos que solo quieran formarse en un solo ámbito (bailarín o instructor) y de 150 euros mensuales para aquellos que quieran realizar toda la formación. Solo podrán acceder al curso: - Bailarines que hayan superado el curso de iniciantes de Mzouk. - Bailarines que bailen desde hace más de un año otro estilo de Zouk brasileño. - Bailarines Profesionales de otras disciplinas. Este año el centro Spiral Dance becará a 5 personas repartidas de la siguiente manera: - 1 beca para una persona que resida en Cataluña. - 4 becas para personas que residan fuera de Cataluña. Los bailarines que quieran acceder a dichas becas tendrán que superar una audición ante el profesorado del curso. Constará de una parte práctica y otra teórica. Se realizarán dos audiciones; La primera el 9 de diciembre de 2012 a las 20:00h en el 7º festival Spiral dancers y la segunda el 13 de enero de 2013 a la 13:00h. The course is composed of 6 weekly classes, where you’ll work on Mzouk technique, contact improvisation, interpretation, ballet, contemporary dance, the art of teaching, and choreography and improvisation on stage. Our teaching staff includes: Natividad Insua, Alba Díaz, Leticia Estévez and Daniel Estévez, for our weekly lessons. We’ll also have Gegê (the creator of Mzouk) as a guest teacher. Our teaching staff will evaluate students for them to achieve a certifícate as an Mzouk instructor and dancer. Apart from their 6 weekly classes, the students that are part of the training course will also have access to any of the Mzouk classes given at Spiral Dance, without any additional cost. The training course lasts one year. It costs €125 per month for those who only wish to become either dancers or instructors, or €150 per month for those who wish to do both (Mzouk dancer AND instructor). Conditions to enroll for the Mzouk training course: - Dancers who have done the Mzouk beginner’s course. - Dancers that have trained any other style of Brazilian Zouk for over a year - Professional dancers of any other dance This year, Spiral Dance will offer 5(five) scholarships as follows: - 1 scholarship for a person who lives in Catalonia - 4 scholarships for people who live outside Catalonia There will be an audition in the presence of the teaching staff for the dancers who wish to obtain these scholarships. Theory and practice will be evaluated. There will be two auditions: 1. December 9th, 2012 at 8pm – at the 7th Spiral Dance Festival. 2. January 13th, 2012 at 1pm.
