I'm excited to come back to Maine to teach and dance Argentine Tango and to connect with friends and the local community! There will be a Pre-practica class. Class: 6:30-7:30 Practica: 7:30-9:00 Costs: Class and Practica: $25 Just Class: $20 Just Practica after class: $10 $20 per class is the suggested price. Please come to the class and pay what you can afford. The aim of this series, supported by fellow teachers, is to continue community learning and growth of the community. If $10 is what you can afford, put it into the basket and understand that your presence is what is appreciated. For parking, if you are able to help ease congestion at the Elms, there is a big parking lot on the other side of the bridge for Fraser Field: https://maps.app.goo.gl/eyhy3oN2CDWJUvJRA The Elms has plenty of parking around the back, follow the river to the walkway which leads to the front door. The door will be unlocked, the knob turns counterclockwise to open, let yourself in! For the past 15 years, she has devoted herself to tango, teaching and organizing events for over a decade. With a Master’s in Education and over a dozen years of experience teaching mathematics at the high school and college levels, Cyla brings a deep understanding of how people learn to her tango teaching. Her classes blend structure and creativity, emphasizing clarity, connection, and body awareness. She is also a hula hoop dancer and flow artist, known for her playful yet mindful warm-ups that enhance balance, coordination, and freedom of movement.
