His training and teaching have taken place all across the globe for the past 15 years. Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo, London, Dublin, Havana Cuba, Paris to name a few of his temporary homes. His credits includes several dance video clips and print adverts for brands such as Gap, Sony, Uniqlo, Casio, Takara Tommy, DDD international magazine, Nokia... He also recently appeared on our very own Australian "Celebrity apprentice" on Channel 9. Featured several times on national Dance TV program on Fuji TV Japan, and danced in a few Bollywood movies mostly shot in Mumbai India. In the early years of his dance career, Dan and his Salsa partner Monica Gonzalez proudly represented Ireland at the World Salsa Congress in Miami, Florida. In 2012, he was invited to teach and performed at the Sydney Cuban Festival, beside some of the most prized Cuban Salsa teachers of the country. Dan has taught Hip-hop and Salsa for over 10 years and is very excited about his adventure here in Australia. Australian Performing Arts faculties who have welcome Dan Hu as a teacher includes: Jason's Coleman Ministry of Dance, The Space Art Centre, Unitd Stylez, Patrick Studio Australia - PSA, Fusion Dance Studios, CrossOver, and many more… Today, you can find him at Urban Dance Center and DanceKool studios in Sydney. The Australian Dance Festival is very excited to welcome Dan for the third time since 2011. His previous 2 workshops in 2011 and 2012, received very exciting and overwhelming feedback. Eclectic and versatile, Dan is very fund of Funk/House/Disco music. He is now expending his dance knowledge and skills to House dancing which he speaks with a lot of excitement. Dan also act, sings, and wished to stretch his dancing ability towards Samba, African dance and Lindy Hop in the near future.
