Neste workshop especial, que terá lugar no próprio dia do aniversário de B.Leza, 21 de dezembro, irão cruzar-se duas gerações de mestres: o kota e os kandengues. O Mestre Petchú, um dos primeiros a ensinar danças africanas em Portugal, cuja história se entrelaça com a trajetória deste espaço, e os jovens Ary e Maura, representantes da nova geração de professores, que trazem consigo a energia e inovação da atualidade. A kizomba será a rainha da festa, mas, neste encontro único, terão também a oportunidade de experimentar outros ritmos e estilos que, de forma direta ou indireta, contribuíram para o surgimento desta dança que conquistou o mundo. Este será, sem dúvida, um encontro inesquecível – uma verdadeira festa, um dos workshops mais intensos e memoráveis dos últimos tempos. In this special workshop, taking place on B.Leza’s actual anniversary, December 21st, two generations of masters will come together: the kota and the kandengues. Mestre Petchú, one of the first to teach African dances in Portugal, whose own history is deeply intertwined with this space, will join Ary and Maura, young representatives of the new generation of teachers who bring with them today’s energy and innovation. Kizomba will be the star of the show, but in this unique encounter, you will also have the opportunity to experience other rhythms and styles that, directly or indirectly, contributed to the birth of this dance that has conquered the world. This will undoubtedly be an unforgettable gathering—a true celebration and one of the most intense and memorable workshops in recent times.
