https://djdz.eventsmart.com/events/september15 ____________________________________ Dance as Medicine Fridays happen on the 1st and 3rd Fridays (and 5th when there is one) of every month at The Fairfax Community Church alternating with Ecstatic Dance which happens on the 2nd and 4th Fridays. Come dance, connect and be with community in the sacred Fairfax Community Church Space. We are an open format dance, so you will get lots of variety from DJs as they play their own style and have freedom to shape the dance in different ways. Plenty of room for Contact Improv as well as space to do your own thing! ALIA is an Electronic Music Producer, DJ, Vocalist, and Producer of the Feminine Medicine™ Project based in the San Francisco area. Inspired by the global bass movement and the West Coast festival scene, ALIA's music is an evocative, lush journey into her own blend of bass-heavy electronic dance beats, melodic frequencies, gorgeous feminine voices, conscious lyrics, and sacred psychedelic textures. She has performed at Wanderlust, Envision, Lucidity, Enchanted Forest, Beloved, and Imagine Festivals.
