Dance Church with DJ Vortex

Dance Church is an ecstatic dance event that encourages free movement and personal expression, simultaneously solidifying our community's collective consciousness. This week we are joined by a debutante, DJ Vortex, AKA "Dance Church Warden" Keith Robinson. Since I've been involved, no person has given as much to Dance Church as Keith. Now, he's bringing a wealth and depth of great world music to the Avalon's conscious dance community. From Siberia to Spain, from the mid 20th century to this year, this is an incredibly strong first offering. Trust me, you won't want to miss what Keith has in store. In Keith's own words: "I love to travel. I invite you to come with me, into the Vortex, on a journey through space and time. This is an opportunity to celebrate what people everywhere love to do: to sing, to make music, to dance, all in the own unique way." No phones, no shoes, no talking. We encourage a £10 donation from those who can afford it. Kids go free. No-one will be turned away for lack of funds. Dance Church runs from 1-3pm; you can drop in for as much/little of the session as fits, but it's recommended to stay for the whole journey. Love and I hope to see you on Saturday. x
