RadiantSolz and the Ecstatic Forest Festival team are sharing their love for ecstatic dance with the Dallas community. Featuring music by HONEST (Anthony Semler). This event is part of a Texas tour prior to Ecstatic Forest Festival. Ecstatic Forest Festival is a 5-day festival "filled with the most high-vibe & conscious souls in a lit up rainbow forest that has interactive games & quests!". The effects of ecstatic dance begin with ecstasy itself, which may be experienced in differing degrees. Dancers are described as feeling connected to others, and to their own emotions. The dance serves as a form of meditation, helping people to cope with stress and to attain serenity." Feel the music pulse through you and tune into your inner rhythm. We dance not to escape, but to discover. We dance spontaneously & un-choreographed allowing what is alive in the moment to express itself through movement. We agree to leave the chit chat at the door. What can we communicate through eye contact, movement and energy? What depth can we discover when we set our minds and mouths to rest? We agree to leave all phones and technology behind. As much as technology can connect us, it can also serve as a boundary to truly dropping into what is here and now. We honor each other’s sovereignty and the medicine of this dance through the practice of setting loving boundaries. We are re-imagining night club culture.
